About Us
​

The Millard West Jr. Wildcats Football organization is more than a youth football program — it’s a proven development pathway for young athletes and a foundation for long-term success on and off the field. Serving athletes in 3rd through 8th grade, we proudly compete in the Metro Youth Football League (MYFL), one of the most competitive youth football leagues in the Omaha metro area.

Our mission is simple: develop confident, disciplined, and fundamentally sound athletes while teaching life lessons that extend far beyond football.

A Legacy of Excellence

​

Since our inaugural season in 2021, the Millard West Jr. Wildcats have built a tradition rooted in competitive excellence, strong coaching, and intentional player development.

​

  • 2021 set the standard, with our 3rd and 6th grade teams advancing to championship games, and the 6th grade team capturing an MYFL title.

​

  • 2022 raised the bar even higher, as our 4th and 7th grade teams went undefeated, each winning MYFL championships.

​

  • 2023 marked continued growth and success with seven teams competing, highlighted by an undefeated 5th grade championship and a Metro Division title by our 6th grade team.

​

  • 2024 cemented our reputation as one of the premier youth football programs in the area. With eight teams competing, four teams reached championship games, and both 6th grade teams claimed MYFL league titles. The 6th Grade Green team earned its third straight championship, a rare and remarkable accomplishment.

​

A Championship 2025 Season

​

The 2025 season was another milestone year for the Jr. Wildcats. Our 7th Grade Green team captured its fourth consecutive MYFL Legacy Division championship, an achievement that speaks to long-term development, consistency, and culture.

​

That season, we fielded 10 teams and more than 220 athletes, including:

​

  • 1 – 3rd Grade team

  • 2 – 4th Grade teams

  • 2 – 5th Grade teams

  • 2 – 6th Grade teams

  • 2 – 7th Grade teams

​

This level of participation reflects both the strength of our community and the trust families place in our program.

​

Building More Than Football Players

At Millard West Jr. Wildcats Football, we believe football is a powerful tool for teaching leadership, accountability, resilience, and teamwork. Our athletes are coached to play the game the right way — with discipline, effort, and respect for teammates, opponents, and the game itself.

 

Through a strong partnership with Millard West High School’s coaching staff, our players benefit from aligned coaching philosophies, consistent fundamentals, and mentorship that prepares them for the next level.
